For Christmas, the Boyfriend Wonder gave me Gotham City.
As someone who never expects (let alone asks for) jewelry from others, I’m completely floored that he obtained my favorite piece from the DC Comics x nOir Jewelry collection. Thank you so much, Andrew - I’m forever in awe of you ♡
The detail that went into this piece of jewelry is simply stunning. I had never noticed this within the press photos of the collection, but there’s a tiny Bat-symbol atop one of the buildings! Furthermore, I love how the skyscrapers and the Cubic Zirconia windows are just ever-so-slightly askew in placement, giving this ring some grit and an air of vertigo upon closer inspection.
Simply put, Gotham City is the jewel of my collection. All I have to do now is keep her protected from riddling rogues, cat-burglars, and the like…
